'Fender LT77 and Disco transfer box

HI, I have a 5 speed box (LT77 I think) and transfer box I removed from my 1989 3.5 RR Classic a couple of years ago. The gearbox was working fine when I removed it and the transfer box had only done 13,000 miles since its rebuild. If these are suitable then I'm after £200 for both. I'm up in Preston though.

Jog on you need 50 posts to sell

What? Are there rules I missed? Only trying to help which in all my years owning landrovers was what I thought we all did .

Sales section has 50 post rule, I'm sure your understand this was introduced as we have had numerous people appear, flog stuff and leave forum to pick up the pieces.

50 meaningful posts and you can sale occasionally

HI, Yes I can understand. Of course there is the other side that someone might just have something someone wants - after all I doubt there's many people ripping apart their fully dealer supported brand new Range Rover Sports reading this website. However point taken, I'll just keep reading all the useful information as I have been doing over the years I'll keep all my Velar bits in the garage.

If you are anything to do with this website then can I suggest you get this 'welcome' email changed :

RangeRoverWoody, Thanks for registering at Land Rover Zone! We are glad you have chosen to be a part of our community and we hope you enjoy your stay. You are now free to wonder around our website and post pictures of your Land Rover or join in on the forum. Also you can add links to our growing database of Land Rover websites, if you've got a website please add it, it's free.

Thanks again, Land Rover Zone team

As you can see it invites me to join in on the forum and even post my own website (which I don't have but I could be a local dealer). It would be benefical if it was highlighted that you can really pass on all of your rare and sort after parts to the readers of this forum.

Having to havae at least 50 posts though does maybe explain why you see so many posts saying 'Bump' and nothing else.

Goodbye from me anyway I will attempt to remove my registration. (I hope I'm successfull!).

That is the politest spat dummy I've ever come across

The 50 post rule is to protect members, it's not perfect but it is how it is. When put to a poll the overwhelming vote was to increase it to 100 posts but was overruled by admin

As a very busy and active forum we are often seen as an easy way to shift dodgy tat which is why members like people to stick around a while and have a chance to get to know them a little.

If that's a problem for you then it's a shame because we all lose out but better that than members being ripped off.

Stick around and make some connections, it's not difficult
