na that looks gash with flat windows.the whole point of a truck cab is the curved window and the visability,ya killed the sideways view with that..:p

n i aint yer mate:p:p:p:p:fencing:

pm me yer post code and ill find out..:)

Fine I'll change my post :p

I have mirrors for visibility ;) better than a van anyway and I has cut the sides long enough to get those mini sliding windows in there ;)

I did some measuring earlier ;) 57 7/8th is the width of the roof on a 110 van, which is the same as a series

Only difference being length and in your case for the series to fender mounting the bulkhead bolts are somewhere different for some of them but you don't need all :) I sold my truck cab roof for £140 IIRC

yep,i have only 2 bolts that line up,the ones by the b.pillar.

i have made some spacers and will be fitting them this weekend,
also the seat belts are an issue,I may have to post pics up of that,i have a plan that is good i hope.

The other issues are the door seals.the series truck cab back has a rivet on seal and the metal strip angle the seal fits too has a 90 on it...

so i cold formed the lip flaton the series cab section to line up with the defender strips giving a good strong round edge to push the defender door seal onto.I just got a lump and tap hammer then formed the edge overbetween the two hammers ,seems ok ...no cracks...

Thats it really the door seals seem a good fit

all the roof bolts lined up fine and thats a defender roof and series cab back...

right up and running..

front nato hitch to fit next weekend.I can now sort the rear tub cageing which i just have to pick up from the yard,im hopeing to use the hoop holes for the cage mountings.

cage and hitch by end of next weekend then i can respray..I dont have time to make the tray back yet so going with the existing tub,

[smile]pictures or it didnt happen :p[/smile]

[smile]You knows the rules :D[/smile]

lol

fek arf its a truck cab..:p:p:p:p:p

tell yer wot tho took fekin ages ,the volvo seats are electric so to fit them i had to remove the drive for the tilt and calibrate two in each seat, took all day ffs...i aint even got em wired in just in .....:mad::mad::mad:

...so now im drinkin fuk it....it goes to work tomoz for the next 10 days lol..:beer2::D

best bit is the sheep need a 5 hrs shift so i can spend the othe 3 hrs in farm workshop doing under body stripo n seal...i take the diff guards off every year for clean out.

when its caged out i will post pics..tho it was nice to park in supermarket with a 90 pick up ..i could atchually see what i was reversing into lol..:D
