Feckin Header tanks gone!!

kind of lucky drove down to the tip and back. . .. pulling into the road get out. . . water ****ing all over the place. . open her up adn the header tank split

Mines just started leaking through the cap,not really loosing much water but i'm hoping its just the cap and nothing worse

Common as dog **** is split header tanks. Let me guess!! erm it went right on the seam?? Try and get a white header tank they dunt split as often.

interesting. . . . mine went just below the seam

. . i think the pressure from when it over heated the other weak put too much stress on it. thanks for the advice about the white ones

Just as i pulled up in work today mine decided to empty the tank onto the carpark

.didn't overheat but did a block test and theres loads of pressure in the system as soon as you start even from stone cold so is looking like head gasket.
