OK.First of all i havnt come having 'not' read most or possibly all of the available info on this subject. Im putting the whole day aside tomorrow to getting her running. I fortunately spoke to the original owner the other day. She told me she sold the said vehicle to the garage i bought it from as a Discovery V8 that simply stopped starting. So the vehicle is in remarkably good order and ran well before this immobiliser fault.
1)I have sourced a new imob key fob unit. I have someone to match the fob to the car.
2)Someone has removed the relays so i will put them in there respective slots first.
3)I have a spyder bypass which i may fit first as last? I have already done one of these in another Disco.
4)I have a new fuel pump (afu2913l) relay to fit. (The silvery alli thingy)
5)I have read about running wires to this that and the other but i want it to start normally as i intend to put it on the road.
6)Just wondered what sort of sequence you would place these jobs in?
7)Im expecting to be needing a strong whisky by 1/2 time if the bang on the dash over the spyder unit doesnt work.
7)Wish me luck.
Ta
Terry

As u have done your tests and therefore confirmed that both of the spider immobiliser circuits are faulty, its just a simple matter of installing a wire overlay to supply both circuits with the 12v feeds that the spider has isolated a 20min job, 10min if it’s just one circuit.
Or you can strip the dash down and fit a spider bypass or fit a replacement or even repair.

RemoteKey is the place to go for a new replacement fob as they loan out a programmer.
