Favourite Landrover Magazine

Morning All,

So which is your favourite Land Rover magazine?

I am finding Land Rover Monthly has become a bit too "expedition" centric for my liking, it's all about overlanding to Mombasa and that just doesn't interest me.

My needs are for fairly sensible landrover use, bit of off road but nothing daft and keeping the old 110 running.

So which is your favourite (landrover based please - no porn ) monthly read and why?

Landrover Enthusiast is best.

they are all crap, full of adverts for expensive items you don't need, articles that sound like they have been written by a 7 year old and technical advise from people who'd i'd not trust to service a push bike

put a couple of extra litres of fuel in the tank instead

Good advice from the heathen.

Tend to agree with Sean, they are all much the same and have the problem you have already identified. One every 6 months to get an overview and identify suppliers is about all you need but most of the info is available on line anyway.

What's been said. I used to get LRO and LRE but haven't bothered for a couple of years as there seems to be little of interest to me in them.

... and every time they publish a lane location it seems to get reemed by nutters.

i normally get LRO as i like to read it while i am on the bog BUT for a really good magazine i buy Practical Performance Car (out on the last Thursday of the month) it has taken over from where Car & Car Conversions left off

I don't bother with any of the L R comics any more; too expensive for the 'informative' content they contain in my view. But of them all, LRE is probably the best, not so 'corporate sponsorship' slanted, and better researched articles.

They're all dreadful. LRO in particular being full of duff information. They're on the payroll of the supplier of the worst quality LR parts in the country so how can they be objective about anything. The others are just as useless.

i get lro but thats was gift subscription, i have to say that i also get lrm which is a much better mag.
