Hi all, ages since I've been on here but as I couldn't find anything I thought I'd pop up a post.

I recently bought 2 Lucas Hazard Light switches for the '96 Defender. They were both faulty - both sides were perminantly linked so indicate either way and both sides flash. Seller happily replaced both but did mention they'd had another from the same batched returned earlier this week.

The batch number was P84318 (Pack date 43/18)

Obviously these are over 2 years old now so hopefully most have been identified and solved but anyone holding stock spares may want to check their lables.

They were labled as having been supplied by Bearmach originally.

Thought I'd really mucked up the rewiring until I tested the switch.

Current Lucas offerings are not a patch on the original Lucas for quality. They may be in Lucas boxes and called genuine Lucas but the quality can be quite poor.
