Funniest problem yet. Lol td4 2005. When I bought my car 2 years ago the fuel sensor was faulty. Not my first freelander so I know some of the querks. All I do is run it to 300-350 miles and fill it up. I thought I would get around to the sender unit at some point. Well here I am about to do it and just before I filled last time the fuel light came on but the gauge was still pointing north. I had run the car to about 375 miles so I knew that it was getting empty. My problem is if the warning light came on when it should is my problem not in the sender unit but elsewhere. Many thanks in advance. Bill

Sounds like a fault with the gauge. The Ipack ECU drives both the gauge and low fuel light, using a signal from the sensor.

Can't upload the video. Gauge goes to a different positions with every turn of the key. Billy
