Hi All,
New to the forum and hoping for some wisdom. I recently purchased a 2005 freelander 2 as a bit of a workhorse and was told it only starts with "one side of the key"
Basically when you try and start the car sometimes it will start first time and other times you have to mess around with locking and unlocking the car with the keyfob before trying the key again.
Even then sometimes you need to flip the key round in the ignition for it to work.
Is this a problem with the ignition, key, immobiliser or something else?
Appreciate your advice.
Ben
