Hi, I have a fault code that keeps on appearing, I can get rid of it on my phone app but keeps coming back.
First 30 mins or so of driving is fine, then engine (amber) light comes on and goes into limp mode. Clear fault and all ok for 30 seconds then on again and repeats.
Any ideas please???

Thanks

see attached. Looks alike an alternator problem. Check your battery charge condition.

Hi guys, I changed battery for a new one, reading was 14.02 so that is in range now. Thought it had fixed the problem but fault code came back 101 now.....

That is a boost problem and will lead to the engine warning light coming on and limp mode. Do a search (top right of page) for P0101, there are plenty of threads as it is a known issue. My advice is always - do not start by replacing the MAF and MAP sensors as they are most likely doing their jobs and the problem will be a leak somewhere in the air intake pipework or in the intercooler. A thorough inspection to find the leak is necessary. Splits can open up when boost pressure comes in, goes into limp mode, and the split seals itself again when boost drops. Can make it hard to find the leaks, but they will be there somewhere - could just be a loose clip? Read the threads in the Puma engine section.
