fascia display not working on disco td5

I have created a fault with my fascia . I was.ault finding a fault with heated rear screen not wong. I sudddenly created a fault on the fasica where the hill decent, left indicator and trail light were on as well as red light.
I got rid of these by disconnecting the battery. Now the fascia is not working. Ie not fuel indication rev counter etc
Car starts fine but the fuel hatch button does not work either.
Checked all fuses and they are fine

any ideas

I would seem that the problem is with the BCU unit according to my mechanic. Could I have spiked it when I removed the relay with the ignition on.
Any advise would be appriciated

I'd be interested in exactly which fuses you checked and how you checked them.
There is one fuse which appears to feed almost all that you're having a problem with and that is fuse F14 (15 Amp) in the engine compartment fuse box.
The best way to check is with a multimetter or by substitution with a known good fuse. Vehicle blade fuses are notoriously unreliable when they're disturbed.
It's worth another check.

update on the problem. My mechanic said that the instrument pack is us. He has fitted a second hand one and everything is working fine apart from the fact the millage is reading 400000 and flashing. This is because it does not match the milliage in the BCU.
Once I get it back I will have to try and sort this out.

Not sure how the instrument pack could have been corrupted though
