Fancy a little series with 2.5 dihatsu?

The Dihatsu 2.5NAD was LESS powerful than the Rover 2.25, and was govered at 3,800rpm, so they were tortiousely slow, and Dihatsu wouldn't release the service data for them; & service parts are often dealer only and by quoting chassis number of donor vehicle! Working on them is a right PITA.
Bit expensive for a project base, which if you wanted to do anything with it it would be; that engine and transmission would have to be re-converted to something more useful at some point, either back to original series running gear, if only to be able to get bits for it, or to something like a discovery drive line to make it a practical daily driver.
Personally, I'd be looking elsewhere, or trying to haggle it down to half what he's asking!
