Hi all

anybody used Famous four for bits

I have an order in teh wishlist waiting to go

didn't want to use paddocks after all the bad press i have seen on here

Anybody suggestion any alternatives

Live in cambridgeshire so believe it will have to be online shopping for any bits

i've not had any probs with paddocks, always get there stuff quick

I use LR Series. Cant recommend them highly enough.

L. R. Series - specialists in land rover, land rover series and range rover - gearbox, axle, transmission parts, spares and major units

Famous Four are O.K. I have used them with no problems.

Others I have used with no problems are MM4x4 and Dingocroft.

Hi landy lovers... I think paddocks are great.. never had a problem... great disc brakes (drilled and vent)...

used them a few time - great service, placed an order on the 23/12 at 3pm and they got it to me on the 24/12 by 2pm

I've had no problem with Paddocks, good service and very reasonable postage charges Rimmer Bros is another matter.

i've used famous four a lot. their website is very good. lots of accurate photos.

i spoken to them on the phone too and they are most helpful!

i did have one quite serious overcharging problem but the managing director called me straight away and sorted it all out.

even after that i would still highly recommened them as the customer service is excellent.

Paddocks can be hard for returns but apart form that they have been ok , apart from you never know if they are going to send you britpart ****e! :doh:

Can highly reccomend MM4x4.Shipped parts out to portugal for me over christmas,they arrived within 5 days.
As for Paddocks,Wot fett says

I also had some trouble with www.land-rover-parts-shop , till I got very stroppy they were ignoring my emails and they are ultra slow on returns too!

well Famous Four were very helpful and switched on. I had only ordered 1 pollen filter and they were staright on the email to tell me i needed 2

they were very helpful on the phone with answers to my questions, web site very easy to use

Parts arrived on time

All good so far

Not had any problems with Paddocks, just their preferred carrier Fed-EX. Have use MM 4x4 and LR parts in Liverpool, both easy to deal with.

famous four good as for paddocks only live a short drive from them and dont bother wasting my time standing in there shop being ignored when there is fifteen folk filling boxes behind the counter ignorant to**ers use craddocks now !!

Funny thing is if you go in Craddocks shop theres only 1 fecker serving and 15 other talking on the phones......

Your a moaning git Sirus..don't you realise that you can spend a fortune whilst browsing around the shop and admiring the sights of Cannock.

Rimmers are quick on delivery..if they have it in stock..not the cheapest. Brilliant website. Island 4X4 are competitive on price and also quick to deliver..you get what you pay for.

Bought a Britpart gasket and it has not leaked in 5 years so what's your problem ???

not been in there shop only ordered over the phone so you can blame me for the poor bloke on his own guess there all the same :frusty:
