I have always been proud to be the owner of a Landrover.

However, it appears recently that my example is really beginning to fall apart, If I were to list the issues, it would be extensive reading for many.

So, my newest problem is the rear seats. I dropped them down for my shopping and now the seat won't return easily at all. I have tried the usual methods and was successful briefly until I noticed the seat beal for the middle seat now appears jammed!

I am staggered at the problems that keep developing and am starting to really see why Landy's are getting a bad rap.

If I am able, I will upload a few images of my Landy, so you can see that I do genuinely keep an eye on her, and keep her in good condition, but these problems are really starting to test my patience.

Very annoying that you fight with the seat to get it back into position only to find, that the seat belt has suddenly locked and won't move? Christ!

The seatbelts will usually lock if you try and pull them while they aren’t relatively level. If the car was parked on a hill, or with one set of wheels up a kerb, when you tried to lift the seats, it may have been enough to lock the belt. I would try parking on relatively level ground, and try to get a bit of seatbelt to go back into the reel, this should release the lock and hopefully help lifting the seat.

Thank you Mick for your reply, sadly even though the car is on a perfectly flat road, it's still a royal pain in the backside. I have never encountered such a jammed seatbelt in my life.

That thing just refuses to budge at all. I'd actually share a video if I could so you can see the situation. Often it's not easy to express precisely what's happening. But yeah, I appreciate your reply.
I begin to worry in case all of the other belts have this locking problem, gotta question safety at the moment.

Considering having them all replaced, but not sure to what cost.

Sadly the seatbelt had to be removed at the garage. I cannot believe things on this car keep falling apart really. For such a decent-looking vehicle, it's starting to get very tedious.
