Hi people

Am ordering some falken at 215/80/15, first off are these tyres any good and secondly is this the widest I can go without rubbing etc.

Cheers

They are about as wide as you can go on those 15" rims

For off road - snow/mud you really don't need wide tyres

The 195 stock width is more than adequate for the purpose - in fact more beneficial.

Wide tyres is for Bling, Pimps, Race cars on dry tarmac and The Kings Road Chelsea.
Only off road place they are any good is on soft boggy peat where you want to spread the footprint load.
In all other conditions you need to bite down into the soft material - just take a look at the skinny tyres used on Rally Cars in Sweden

Cheers mate, does make sense actually. Have you ha an experience using the falken at tyres? Got a pregnant wife in the car and just want a set of at tyres that are better in the recent weather than the slicks I've got on lol.
