factory paint removal

hi guys

Whats the best way to remove the factory paint from me defender, my vehicle has been painted in a horrible mat green camo color with black tiger stripes and its time for a change. nitromors seems to be getting the green off (v.slowly) but dosn't want to touch the original color under it no matter how much i key the surface first.

wet n dry + elbow grease

or take the panels off and media blast with plastic granules.

elbow grease probably yer best bet or an orbital sander and some fine grit paper...

anyway you don't really want to take it all off unless you're doing repairs and using bodyfiller - just flat it down nice and smooth and apply an etch or stabilising primer then paint as you fancy.
