My introduce yourself post seems to have never appeared, so I'll try again...
Just got a (total wreck) of a 110... needs sideframes, bulkhead and the chasis might be too far gone for patching... we'll see once the body is off...
In the mean time I'm on the look out for a running 110 to use until the other is fixed up.
Nice to be back to landy-ing after a bit of a break. Started with a SII lighweight about 17 years ago, that lasted me 7 or 8 years, then a RR Classic 3.9 for about 5 or 6 years, then a couple of years without due to huge commute/no money/divorce/etc.
I'm generally in the Halifax (where my parents and my children live) -> Lancaster (where I work) -> Penrith (where my girl-friend lives) areas....
Yes, I cover a lot of miles per week, no I don't spoil landrovers by doing huge motorway miles in them... that's why I have a crappy Vauxhall that runs on LPG.
