Anyone here got an extra temp gauge thats accurate? If so, what are good ones to go for? I'm fancying a digital one. How does the temp gauge actually wire in since I've never took one out before? What live would it use and how does the send plug in? I'll be going for an aux pod on the dash to stick a boost gauge on aswell i think. Any thoughts?
Cheers.

The sender works on resistance, there is only one wire to the original and it earths through the engine block.

I am not sure how the digi ones work but I would guess that they must come with there own sender unit!?!

I would leave the old one in as well so they both work.

If so would tap that into the system somewhere where you want to test the temp, then wire it back to the guage as per instructions.

You will also want to take a live from the dash ilumination so that it lights up when your lights are on.

Like I say it will be diffrent for each make but they shoud have a full kit with instrustions.

You seen the price!! I'm just fancying a better extra temp gauge. I'm thinking I'll get one of them digital jobs and a boost gauge and stick em both in a dual dash pod.Any pics of how people have mounted theres? Also, how have people plumbed in their boost gauges? I know you can just stick a T piece in next to the waste gauge actuator, but I'd much rather but it near the inlet manifold so its more accurate. How have people done this?
