Poking around in the motor and I noticed som extra wiring, relays and fuses… my TD4 has the housings for the long range driving lights, holes in the bumper and wiring there, but no lights. I am assuming the relays and fuses are for the long range driving lights… thoughts?

Additionally: where would one find a chip tuner in the engine compartment. When I bought it, they mentioned it might have one, but they didn’t know for sure

Also the engine compartment fuse box… I seem to be missing some fuses/relays/wires. Anyone know what these are?

The relay for the long range lights is in front of the battery.

A tuning box needs to connect to the fuel rail sensor, and MAF sensor, so if there's only factory wiring connected to those items, then there's no tuning box fitted.

The pictures you have posted are for a V6, which needs a different set of relays and an additional harness in the fuse box compared to the TD4.

Yeah, borrowed the one photo from one of Hippo’s posts. So the TD4 has none of the wires on the side. The manual and the Haynes book don’t identify the relays I circled… curious what they are for was all
