Extra? Radio wires?

Reet folks - checking out the wiring of my radio, prior to changing it. I have discovered a couple of issues(sorry Slob).
Apart from the idiot crossing over the rear speakers L-R, I seem to have TWO blue/yellow wires coming from the LR radio loom. According to the Haynes (Audio system with subwoofer) book of lies, I should only have one for the subwoofer.
I also have an unused screened red and black cable.
Does anyone have a helpful & definitive answer as to why I shud have two?

are they for the dashboard controls???

Dunno - Haynes says blue/yellow is subwoofer (which I aint got) but only mentions one, not two.

Subwoofer, thats HMS Turbulents' mascot int it.

i dunno - but i aint got one.

ffs someone on here must know about radios.

would the screened wire be fer conecting yer phone through it. so that yer radio goes quiet when yer on yer phone?

or maybe some kinda multimedia device

dont think so coz its two wires (red & black) inside a screen - it also seems to go towards the back of the cab. The Mute wire aint normally screened. I havent bussed it through yet. I aint too concerned about the screened pair - just the two blue and yellow ones.

Blue & yellow is usually permanent live (for the memory) and the electric aerial

according to the Haynes book of lies - perm live is Purple/White. there is no elec aerial wire on the disco.
