Hi just wanting to know will plus 3" shocks fit with plus 2" springs or will the shocks bottom out when the springs fully compress. iv got pluss 2" shocks and springs on now and was thinking of lowering my rear shocks an inch thanks.

I put a 2" (springs from paddocks) lift kit on my old Disco and used Pro Comp ES3000 shocks, it worked a treat.

How long have you used the spring's (are they BritPart, Yellow) cos I've heard some nasty stories about them sagging prematurely?

If you remove the spring ,then jack the axle to the bump stop you can see how much travel you have left in the shock, also measure the distance between the spring pans and work out what the spring would measure fully compressed.

So your not fitting +3" shocks?? just dropper plates on the rear??

So your rear set up would be, +2" shocks and springs and 1" lower shock mount?

If so this will be fine. Presuming you have extended brake line/s. Dont forget though one wheel will only drop as far as the other can go up, so if you have big wheels and unmodded arches and the wheels bury in the arches now on full articulation then dropping the shockers an extra inch will have no effect whatsoever

Edit: Im sure the dropper plates ar -2" (its been that long since i fitted a pair)
