I just took out insurance with Adrian Flux, on the recomendation of nearly everyone.

But after taking my money they mentioned that they can't actually do agreed value on vehicles that do more than 5000 miles a year ? Fook my winch alone is worth more than book on my 85 90'.

Does anyone know any different, or can I just say I do under 5000 miles, as in terms of UK miles it would be under 5000, and when I am abroad they don't cover the insurance anyway, so those miles should not count.

Asked Adrian Flux this question when i took it out with them and got told the miles still count, as do off road miles. When ya take out a limited miles policy with them ya sign a form stating milage at the start off the policy and they take ya 5000 miles from that, wherever and however ya did em.
Its a bit crap but thats how it is.

Can't answer that directly, though if you came to make a claim and they found out you'd done more than 5k doubt they'd pay up.
We used Campbell Irvine for our expedition also from various recommendations. Campbell Irvine
