Expat in ireland

Hi everybody

"Jolly" is a Disco 2 Owner in County Cork and found the "Landyzone" due to a problem with it; I've always been a Landy Fan and regret selling a 1971 LWB Safari I owned - not the most comfortable but how I wish I had it now!
I've had the Disco for just over a year and it's now giving a spot of bother - "Googled" the engine and discovered you guys.

I'm hoping that the combined knowledge can help me dig my way out of the s*#t I now find myself in!!

Welcome tae the mad hoose skipper
Ah know a bloke around your way, goes by the name of ( Scottish) Mick and does a bit of work on boats, he came from my neck of the woods but moved over there a wee while back.
Hope ye've got a good sense of humour and a thick skin

Hang about Buster... you know a bloke in Ireland who goes by the name of Scottish Mick... he's not Canadian is he?

Nah... when have you ever known me be serious? I just thought a bloke called Mick, living in Ireland who used the qualifier "Scottish" to make sure he wasn't mixed up with all those other Micks was amusing... so I expanded it a bit

I don't know Scottish Mick, the Plumbing wireman, but he sounds as if he belongs here! Down in West Cork we find all sorts - even loony Disco owners like myself. I have to say that Landyzone has restore a bit of my insanity as I'm on my way back to try to find a Series Landy to satisfy those more 'peculiar' urges!
