Exhausts

Ok, so I was out laning earlier and completely wrecked my exhaust middle section. I hit a tree stump that was obscured by mud. Didn't expect it in the middle of a lane...

My concern is that there's little to prevent it from happening again. The exhaust system hangs down stupidly low and it is so exposed compared to other Landy's. Is there any way to upgrade the system entirely without having to use exhaust protectors? I'd rather not use them because they will hinder ground clearance even further.

Can someone confirm that this pic shows the middle silencer? (behind red arrow) I read somewhere that the TD4 only has one silencer at the back but imo this looks nothing like a cat so it leads me to assume it's a silencer.



I would have taken my own photo but it's dark. Kudos to Hippo or whoever took the photo.

yes thats the middle silencer.

thur was a guy whom had a stainless system made on this forum [long time ago] and he only had one silencer at the back ,sed it sounded quiet good and not too noisy. . . . .

That pic above is from my v6, if it helps. Don't know what other models have.
