Doubtful , certainly pipe from engine will be different, rear no will have a different no. but will probably fit

What's an LN if it isn't all Freelander 1's?

The TD4 can use the V6 rear silencer. However lots of poeple use a smaller straight through box instead.
Not quite sure myself where the LN comes into it but do know from websites there is such a beast. Was given the back box and intermediate
section brand new(the back box is a sort of triangular shape) and the bore is a lot bigger than what's on. A mechanic told me today though that they can be adapted and they do help the engine breathe better. When (and thats a big when in this weather) i get it done i'll post back and let everyone know if it works or not. Thanks for the replies and a Merry Christmas to all.

I think you will find the LN is 5 door TD4

So where do we find this 'LN' then? Is it not the LN in the VIN? Don't all F1s have LN as their VIN code?

Not sure where it comes from but whenever i've bought anything for the freelander from ebay it nearly always states LN for the five door when they list compatability.
Nice one Roger. Did look on a website as a matter of interest yesterday and this site recons it won't fit? but iv'e got a strange feeling you may be right
as i'm fairly sure the after market one i put on a year or so ago was swaged down in size from the manifold although i can't honestly remember.
Will get my head stuck under there as soon as weather improves as there's no rush. Any other info greatfully received.
