I have just attached my gearbox back to the engine, and this has highlighted a couple of issues with the routing of the exhaust.
  1. I can get it to sneak past the gearbox mount, but it is a bit close
  2. Where the front exhaust section is joined to the middle section, a corner of the triangular bracket is up against the chassis, and I know when I run the engine, the vibration makes it bash against the chassis.
I am not sure what needs to be done to ensure the exhaust doesn’t rattle against anything.

Any advice appreciated.

A jiggle job, free off nuts at manifold, get all three bolts in the next joint in but loose, free bracket clamp above axle and clamp at tail pipe.
Starting at manifold move towards engine some to set in right position., do nuts up equally and so on.

Yup, lots of jiggling, tweaking and the jobs done - i have got the joint bracket further away from the side of the chassis, and got the pipe raised a bit, so it is away from the rubber gearbox mounts.
Thanks for the steer.
