Exhaust Issues

Hi to all, new to the site and in need of help already lol
My Landy has been trouble free for 18 months until I returned from week in New Forest for her to sound like a spitfire - snapped under down pipes under what looks like a small catalytic converter.
All stripped down but where is best to get replacement on a budget.....and any catches I need to look out for?

Sorry....its a baby 1.8 petrol

diesel - go for straight through pipe replacement ie de cat (particular filter)

petrol - go to your local motor factors ie paddocks / euro parts

If your in the south try Southern Exhaust Supplies (SES), or PartCo (fartslow) both supply most of the motor factor around Bristol

As Jimbo says, try Paddock etc. but also try this if you've no joy with the others.

If a new one is cheap, replace it but if it's expensive, salvage your old one,
