Exhaust blowing 4.6 HSE

Would anyone Know if you have a hole in the mid section of the exhaust would it affect the running of the engine.
It might be me however it appears to be running very rough. Any ideas anyone please!!!!

I would get it fixed but you won't see any instant adjustment from the car. On my 4.0 thor engine with motronics you could disconnect the battery overnight, this would cause the car to relearn the petrol map BUT!!!!!!.........from reading threads on this site some people seem to have terrible trouble with disconnecting and low battery levels (i never had any trouble when the battery died) so maybe we can get some extra advice before you try anything.

The leaky exhaust wont affect idle,but it will make it fail the Mot with a high Lambda reading.Does the car run LPG,are the plugs /leads in good nick ?
