Ex MOD/Civilian 110?

Hi guys

I bought a 110 ex mod from Withams last week - just waiting for it to get plates/registered. New to ex mod vehicles but not landrovers.

Wondered if anyone had any thoughts on it - its come from the RAF and has a 300tdi engine in, power steering, comfy seats and a civilian dash. also the lights look civilian - no square cut out around the lamp. Anyone know why there might be a civi 110 in the forces or if its quite common?

The RAF likes its civilian comforts!

Mod sometimes buy newer civvy spec vehicles such as for airfield duty. Hopefully its had an easy life swanning about the airfield. If you take the plastic trim off the lights you'll see the square cut out. Military ones just don't have the unnecessary trim. You even have plastic bits on the inside of your doors!

MOD had plenty of civvie spec landies, just slapped a coat of NATO green on them.
