Hello ,I am new here ,and attempting to make a Freelander m47 engine run out of the car. Can anyone on here tell me what terminal number 3 in the EWS is for. According to the wiring diagram it is ignition switch ,instrument pack,but doing what?.Any help would be much appreciated.

You wouldn't be able to run the M47 out of the vehicle. The immobiliser will prevent it. You'll need the whole immobiliser and all other parts of the system, including the harness to get round it.
Why do you want to run it out the car?

Most people are trying to get them to run in the FL. First time for everything I guess...
