Evoque looking hopeful .. I hope

Seems the Evoque isn’t getting the enthusiasm land rover would have liked, from the peeps who already own other lr models. From the above postings, can I safely assume you lot would rather drive a Freelander than a Evoque? :)

Somehow I don't think LR give a toss what we think - this is clearly aimed at those who are pretentious enough to want a RR as a status symbol, but cannot afford one, and wouldn't be able to park it in the local supermarket anyway.

Personally, I think the thing looks terrible - based on Freelander, with a lower ride height? That's not a Range Rover :der:

Personally, I think the Evoque is some sort of Indian revenge for colonialism:eek:

Having seen one up close, as it drove past me on the M40, I think it's an improvement on the current RRs.... now the new Defender, that's an abomination...

i think as i town run around fine!! as a rangerover?? lets just say ill eat my hat the first time i see one pulling a horse box with a bale of hay in the boot.
they should drop the rangerover name and just call it the Evoque
its hasnt earned the right to be in the same class as a rangerover. i mean its based on a freelander so surley if its to be named after anything it should be the freelander evoque??

i agree with ^^^.

So you lot would prefer it to be a land rover evoque, as opposed to being part of the now seperated range rover range of products?

Exactly
Don't get me wrong it is a good looking car but its got nothing in common with a Rangerove and I can't see it ever been use in the same role as a Rangerover

Good looking. Are you having a laugh? It's bloody grotesque. You don't also fancy Ann Widdecombe by any chance do you?

Those people from India and marketing should read some history on Range Rovers.then they will figure our how much dick heads they are!!!!

Has that gone through then? There were rumours but I hadn't realised they were serious or that it might already have happened.
The separation I was referring to was the brands of land rover and range rover. Their web site separates them, but they’re all made by land rover.
