Looks like you can buy it here. I think I downloaded a a v130 a while back but deleted it. I'll have look around and see if I can find where I got it from.

This is the clone vci i use and have without running into much issues. It has a silver sticker on the obd header labeled JLR SSD.

It reads every available module on every canbus, versus the one i previously had which only read two. Every version of JLR SDD won't let me execute the oil service reset procedure on my 2008 L322 HSE (US) However, the other service reset procedure worked fine.

OK, I finally managed to get my SDD operational...I think. I have a message on the main page that says Software updates have not been performed so functionality has been disabled... and when I click on the perform updates hyperlink the page comes up, I run the VCM update tool but there are no files to update..how do I get to that? My version is 164.00 v347.
I think I have also found the cause of my 3 amigos... I have a permanent DTC on the ABS (U3002) Invalid serial data, I havent changed or touched the ABS module. It says to configure the CCF for the car. Would that be just for the ABS? I do have some changes I have made to CCF previously using a GAP tool.
These were to cover the change to my Dash ( I coded and fitted an L322 Digital dash into my 2010 L320) and I added an auto high beam module but they have been working fine for ages...

Will I need Engineering mode to do the CCF via SDD?
All assistance apprecitaed... these idot lights are driving me nuts lol.

Hi guys,

Just got the v164 with Mongoose, installed as written in the readme. Started to use but when I tried to turn off scandinavian lights(always on) said that sw downloads are missing and stopped the process without the ability to set the light option. After a few tries it connected to the server, downloaded what was missing and was able to set the lights and other things.

Is it a problem that SW connected to the server?

Message was sg like that:

Thanks!

No, that's fine - there are certain addresses that the patch blocks but as you've found out, there is a need to access software components. You can download all the software for your model prior to needing it from the settings menu.

Thanks for the answer. My intuition was the same but strenghten it Always good.

I just bought a '08 D3 with EPB and TCCM error codes, transferbox also making a harsh noise under load

I repaired the EPB, it needed manual unjamming and proper calibration. Also HDC and TCCM needed initialization because previous owner made sg with it.

Now its electrically fault free, just the noise remained.

I will drop the transferbox and will looks inside. Maybe the chain is stretched and jumps ön high loads.

I've seen transfer box chains with the link pins partially broken and links hanging loose! They're very easy to open up, just make sure you clean all the old sealant & oil off the mating surfaces and don't use old or too much sealant.

Well, apparently I'm stuck with the two upper bolts ATMO 😅

They can be fun, use a 13mm 'C' spanner or a flex-head ratchet spanner.
If you take off the viscous engine cooling fan, you can drop the transfer box a lot further down without any issues which will give better access.

I made this 😁

But seems not the transfercase makes the rattle under load. Everything fine, bearings ok, cogs ok, chain seems ok but there is a little bit of polishing inside the housing...

Anyway, OFFTOPIC 😅

That could well be a problem with the tensioner, it shouldn't be contacting the casing at all. With regard to the rattle, have you checked the engine mounts?

Tensioner? Well I didn't see tensioner in the case.

Engine mounts can cause rattle? I will check it!
