howdy, ive recently taken the plunge and bought a disco 2 in nice condition and decent miles (i drive landys at work so fully realise what ive let myself in for) a couple of questions, im sure there are threads on here and i will go looking but feel free to reply. gearbox- nasty into 2nd and 3rd when cold and the linkage becomes stiff when its warmed up im guessing lube the linkage and change the oil, is the difflock evo 1 really worth the extra £ and also is it a pig to change? something about needing a pump to get it in. And are they known for chassis corrosion as mines quite rusty at the rear for a car its age (garage was half full of classics and i had the kids with me so the distractions caused me to forget to grovel about underneath) i reckon its been dunking boats so its waxoyl time. thanks in advance folks
