If you look closely at the back of the headlight, you will see the 3 slots that locate the bulb. On mine the 2 lower slots are double width (this was true on my Transit also), on the top slot it is possible to see the moulding marks for a wider slot. You can either widen this slot and rotate the bulb to the new position or just bend the top tag on the bulb to the rear and rotate the bulb. This alternate position is I believe used with a different front glass for LHD but it is good enough with the standard glass to pass the French MOT (I live in France) I also do not get flashed by oncoming drivers so I reckon it's not too bad.

Do you intend doing much night driving, and are going to need your lights or, just worried about dazzling others? Datatek`s answer sounds like a good one, but if you don`t anticipate really needing all available light, then deflector patches, would be an easier `quick-fix`.
p.s. main -beam and rear fog-lights seem compulsory here in rain. And locals only use side-lights in thick fog! Don`t need headlights I know where I`m going!

According to locals where I live (Vienne) The Normandes are always in a thick fog due to an excess of cider and calvados:D:D:D:D:D:D
