Can't give you any real help on which are the best parts, but by the looks of your first post I am reasonably local to you if you need a hand or second opinion, etc

Good luck with that if its a diesel. You would be better off trying to fit your own top hat liners with a stick than getting that to run on a budget.

I take it the diesels aren't that good then? :confused2: I think I'll end up going down the rebuild route presuming the block isn't split!

Hi andy, yeah im doing at walker palce next to the harbour! An opinion from someone who actually knows about range rovers might be very helpfull! so far we deinately know its f***ed:(. we know a fair bit about engines but have never had dealings with a range rover! thank you for the offer mate :)

I think one thing that can be taken from this K seal is pants and only a bodge for a fubar engine!
I think you will find it will need liners possible a regrind of the crank and a full set of bearings and cam one two

Tbh I would not fit a second hand engine as usually they are as fubard as the one you are replacing!

Currently have a bottom end rebuild to do on one car due to oil consumption not good
If you rebuild the fubar motor at least it will only ba a ons bank account hit rather than twice if you fit a unknown engine

Think he swapped his p38 for a golf if I remember right. Did anyone see the photo he posted when having eas faults, it was quite funny the rear end was up sticking up far too much.

Lol that was the first pic I saw when I joined LZ , he asked "anyone know why its doen this " pml :p

Poor bloke, way over his head with that car

btw v8 beast "dingo croft" are a pretty knowledgeable parts place who can sell you what you need and help you to get the right bits.

yeah, K-seal is officialy sh*t haha, aint going near the stuff again and the manufacturer is getting a letter of compaint as it claims its guaranteed to fix problems when it obv didnt!
