I would like to thank you all dear sirs for all the help that you have gave me and all of the advices i received from you,this forum is great.
Massive thank you from my heart to you.
P38 was sold after a year and a half of troubled ownership,got myself an e39 yes a bimer,sold the fecker with a knackered block and air compressor,i have had it.
I reached the point of no return,and i have noticed these couple of weaks alot of threads including slipped liners,age is finaly having its toll on these cars.
Keep up the good work people.enjoy your range rovers,i am out !!!!!!

Known scenario as my best friend sold his range rover to get a good bimmer (a E46 330i) 2 years ago, he's constantly talking about range rovers like a drug addict.
I'm pretty sure it'll end with a L322.

Well, I'm buggered then, coz I do 20K plus miles per year and I only have the P38 - if you exclude the Imp which I do not use for motorway mileage!

So Far! Although a seemingly welded in spark-plug is my first worry...

I've only had the car three months the first 6,000 miles has been trouble-free, I don't expect metronomic reliability to last forever! Not only is it a Rangie - it is 11 years old, you can't expect reliability from any 11 year old car, Rangie or not. That said my classic never let me down.

When I did the fluids this weekend, I was impressed with how clean the transfer box and diff oil was. so it's been looked after, the steering box needed adjusting, doing so has transformed the car - drives like new now!
