Lovely Shropshire...
Hi all. Circumstance and life have got in the way of me posting any updates but here you go......:)

I had an engine supplied by a reputable V8 company, of which many of you have and probably are useing but as they still haven't finally fixed the fault i shant name them.
After emailing them in May and receiving a "we haven't forgotten you" email in the same month, and the car finally becoming unuseable in November i called them to see what they thought about why they hadn't phoned to collect it. We'll be right there they said. a week later they arranged to collect it, promising to transport it by way of Rac as their trailer was elsewhere. I left them pondering the engine as i went off for food. Now bearing in mind there was now low compression on 4 and 6 cylinders and i had stopped driving it due to an engine fault light........imagine my joy at overtaking my car on the M6 by the rac control centre as it was being driven back to somewhere not close to Telford Where i now live to be fixed. I wonder if i don't phone them back if i will ever see it again....

An update when i get it back......it is getting rather ridiculous that without my gentle reminders they wouldn't have collected it.

Quality customer relations.

That is appalling. You obviously have a lot of patience, I would be communicating through a solicitor by now. I hope it will turn out OK now but they need to be named and shamed.

Hi.

I should but my thoughts are that i want it fixed by them in a good frame of mind i suppose. Less patience, more busy is the reason. They now say it will be fixed for next week although they haven't said whats wrong with it yet but the first fault was a pumped hydraulic adjuster.
Did a lot of asking as well before i used them. Just goes to show you can never be sure.

Hopefully in a weeks time it will be back and fixed.

Hi all....brace yourself, it's fixed!!!!:)

Car was taken away and reappeared on Sunday night, no phone call or warning but at least it's back.

At first glance it seems they have fitted new heads, but i am waiting for a reply to find out.

Nick.
