do yer fink anyone would notice :rolleyes:

it needs to be totally rover and not involve bolting a depender, disco or rr chassis under it.....cos that's cheating and not worthy of your talents :)

Why totally rover? They're pants at the best of times, or Honda!

My 2p but I reckon if you got a K series with the block and head in good nick, then rebuilt it with cleaned castings and all the uprated components, then you stuick it in a FL with en EWP and well sealed cooling sytsem you'd not get HGF once.

Someone might even do that one day :scratching_chin:.......

The 3 I put in mine last week 1st one stem seals nackered 2nd bottom end nackered 3rd chucked all the oil into inlet so that ones nackered as well.
Its handy having 2 garages in the family sometimes.

Wouldn't it have been easier to do the stem seals?

It probabley would of been but there was another engine there to try so I did.
When the 3rd one was nackered I'd had enuf of it and scrapped the car.
Even if I found a good one there is no saying how long it would of lasted.
