Having gone to all that trouble & expense I'd stick to the proper fuel, especially as you seem to have factored in performance mods. during the rebuild.

just run it in with petrol, then have it gassed.
you can gas it straightaway, make sure the lpg isnt set too lean. maybe put a valve lube kit on
