Engine Rattle.

Driving along and as I was pulling away at lights a rattling noise started coming from engine.
Has been fine all day until half an hour ago.
The only thing between no rattle and rattle starting was to fill up with LPG.

Ps. 2000 4.6 Thor.

Sounds like a fecked rocker or push rod

really hard to tell but could be a cat breaking up, mine did that sounded like a spanner rattling down the exhaust pipe but your rattle sounds deeper......could be a failing hydraulic tappet?

Id say it was either the cat or a failed cam tappet or maybe a broken rocker shaft.
Not a lot else it could be apart from your air con pump bearing /clutch. Take the top cover off the fan and pull the throttle cable. If the belt moves backwards or forwards theres a problem at the front end
