Engine Oil cooler pipes

Sorry to be a complete dipstick : my replacement lower cooler hose arrived today : I am going to get a compression fitting so as to leave the connection at radiator end in place : Question : can somebody please spell out for me in words of one syllable precisely how the engine block end is fitted : I can't see it on Rave and haven't been under yet to have a good look. ( I know I've asked this before : go easy on an ol' amateur !)

hoses push into holes held in by a clamp with u shape cut out each end with 10mm headed bolt securing it ,undo bolt pull out pipes
