ok drive 2005 td5 90 ...never a problem then 3 weeks ago it just cut out bit like running out diesel ,,called out rac who dropped me in at garage who wanted to change the wiring harness ecu and injector harness!! td5 is now at shiremoor have a new ecu to put in as old one have burnt marks on the board....is anyone in north east who could maybe run a diagnostics on the engine to see if any faults ...rather pay someone knew what there doing!!

Do you mean that the new ECU is fitted and it still won't start or do you mean that all is ok now that all the work has been done you and you just want the engine checking to be on the safe side?

Was fitted no start Guy came out today and couldn't get the diagnostics find anything wouldn't let him in,,,thinks new ecu is Buggerd he's taken it to his garage try more tests...got defender same year switch ecu in to rule that out! Muddy feet didn't do a mobile diagnostic test!
