Just about ready to fit my engine back in. I will be on my own but have engine hoist.
It came out all in one piece engine and box joined together.
But think it will be easier to put engine on its own back in first, then gear box after. or is this a bad Idea ?
Also when I got it it was just sat on engine and gear box mounts, no bolts in, Is there any special plates or washers for the bolts on mounts or is it just plain washers and nuts ??

mounts use flange nuts , you can easily fit them both ways split or together, if its engine first place a jack under rear so you can raise it to fit transmission, without its mounts which you add to box once bell housing is bolted up

Thanks, I did fit the transmission mounts but left them loose so I can move them either way side to side , up and down to get right position before tightening, but can easily take them off. will it rest on crossmember while I get it bolted up
Do you know what size the bolts are for flange nuts ? and do they also need washers ?
