engine loom info

got an issue on the project..(1971 rrc)

missing engine loom...so no ignition feed,alt warning light etc..

info required on where loom plugs in/goes to etc..cos i dont seem to have a plug to plug it into like..(thats if i had one to plug in)

aint a problem making a loom up,make up multi canbus/ ecu looms at work for various units,but would be nice to make it look oe..

did you buy that one on ebay in the end

could just oinch the loom from that and copy it

interesting....but i after rrc 1971 engine loom info..ie where the feck it plugs into..

and as a note ..me gmc is ex m1009..military..no smog crap..24v starting .twin alt etc..so all civy diagrams are totally wrong..

the engine is wired up..just need the rrc loom to wire into!or info on where rrc engine loom plugs into rrc main loom...

He seems to have wired everything up separately but I suppose all you'd need would be the starter and fuel pump wiring ?

For fuel pump and starter this is how my V8 is wired up so I'd have thought it would be the same for you, i.e. glow plugs on a manual circuit and then starter, accessories etc on the normal RR stuff ?

yep..i missing the white wire..ie ign..it aint in my engine bay...plus a few others...tomorrow i shall go hunting..lol

found out whats going on...previous owner had attecked wiring loom ..engine harness plug missing vital wires..

so today been engine wiring again..maling plugs outa differnt ones,rewiring,striping old looms down to get correct colour cables etc...took hours,but now getting there..
takes so long as once done you wont even know that there are wires in engine bay..
