Engine light

I've got a TD5 90, the engine light keeps coming on, and when it does it feels like the engine is trying to stall itself, this happens for about a second or so and then back to normal! I've plugged it and no codes come up. Anyone have any ideas?

Where would the earth be located? The fuel pump relay is also very hot to touch?

put a fresh earth from seat box to battery and see if it sorts it then just put more earths to chassis ,body ,seat box
