Key lost sync tried it in ignition and pushing fob but no joy would leaving the boot open for couple of hrs cause this as was working fine day before

Possibly, if it's dropped the battery low enough. Think you need to enter the EKA.
Do you have the EKA? If so, you can enter it via a series of lock/unlock turns of the key in the drivers door PROVIDING the switches are all working.
Is this diesel or petrol, there are some differences in how the alarm/immobiliser system works on the different engines.

It's petrol I've got a nanocom so will resync was just wonder why it was ok in the evening but nothing next morning will check battery as well thanks

I've disabled mine for now as it spends long periods not being used and I got sick of having to get the book out to find the eka and enter it.
Often, there's enough juice to start it once the eka is entered but it got low enough to loose the eka. I was quite surprised that it happened like that.

Just put EKA code into nanocom car started fine checked battery 14:5 is that ok output on tick over resync the key in drivers door it locked on fob once and unlocked but wouldn't lock again when I tried it any ideas much appreciated

Thanks for all the suggestions hope your right Rick the pick seems the cheapest option I've used the car today and all been good with fob but will replace batteries just in case got to go to Scotland nxt week in the car with a trailer so don't need any problems on route fingers crossed
