ok now ive changed my plugs/leads and coil packs its on to my next job of finding the oil leak on my engine
not sure how bad the leak is or even where its coming from,i will try and get a pic up soon of underneath and its all over the front diff
and its left a nasty patch on my driveway
what are the normal V8 leaks(its a 99 thor engine)
would jetwashing the engine get it clean enough to find the leak or would it need steam cleaning

Rocker cover gaskets ar ecommon but high up...

If low down, suspect sump gasket, drain plug washer, Crank Seals, timing cover gasket...

If it is on the diff, that rules out the rear crank seal at the bellhousing as that is to far rearward

As Saint said, my guess is front of engine. Crank or cover gaskets.

You don't really want to be putting steam or jet wash with all those electrics there. Try some engine degreaser toothbrush and soft brush. Then a gentle wash with water from something like a weed sprayer. Brake and clutch cleaner is good, but expensive.
