Energy Saving gadget to read House electric drained my battery

Hi All

as you all know the P38 is prone to battery drain with wireless gadgets

I put on a wireless electric monitor to keep a track of how much electric i am using.. great idea.. not if you own a R.R P38.. bloody drained my battery, as on a similair frequency to the car, even after i disconected the arial under the parcel shelf, [ blue wire ] still drained it

Oh well, that will teach me for being a clever cloggs, smart arse .
I will just have to read the meter instead

Hi Paul,

If you want to see a big DIY project, I'll send you some photo's

The FCR is fine, not a lot of opportunity to use it in anger apart from sorting a problem with the SRS. Quite a lot to take in, I have a play every now and then Just wish I could afford the direct access module, guess that will have to wait until next year
