EMS Warning Light TDV6

Hi - I have recently purchased a 2009 Discovery TDV6 with just short of 100K on the clock and full Landrover service history. The EMS warning light came on after a sedate drive of about 60 miles but the next day it was off. Today it came on again and after being parked for a short period it was off. Car seems to drive perfectly OK with no apparent loss of power. Any thoughts as to likely cause of problem will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
