Hi all,hope you can help me.I took my 2004 td4 for a service the other day which included the fuel filter under the wheel arch been replaced.since then I've had a problem.Whilst normal driving 'Winnie'has a small cough,like a flat spot,then a slight surge in power.If I try to accelerate uphill at 70mph the engine management light comes on.I've taken it back to the garage and he found a chafe in the pipe from the turbo,he replaced that and she pulled better but I still have the flat spot and Eml issues.I'm gonna replace the lift pump to eliminate that as a problem,but before I do I was gonna ask you guys.Thanks in advance.....

Thanks grumpy gel.That answers just about all my questions. I've been trying to get into the' search',but it kept coming up landyzone search error.cheers...

There is a problem with the search at the moement I have started a number 10 petition to have the managmaemt crucified

Hi all.just a quick update.I had the boost solenoid replaced and a pierburg lift pump fitted (with a decent filter unlike the aftermarket one that I'd recently had fitted),and ,touch wood "Winnie"is running like a dream again.Cheers for the link GG.I still can't get into the search.Did you manage to crucify anyone MM?
