hi guys,

Just fitted new led side lights, indicators and rear tail lights. Everything seemed to go and even fitted the new relay and all working. Now when I look on my dash my little trailer light is on permanently now and it didn't do that before. Has anyone came across this and what do I do about it?

Hi Mate what relay did you use to stop the volt leak? I had to use diodes on my tell tales on mine.
I solved the trailer light issue by using a relay from Bolt on Bits with adjuster knob on it specifically to control the trailer light. It works but it's 30 quid!

Okay did the little knob twiddling and hey presto it has cured the problem only to add another but a lot less annoying. The hazards will work but it doesn't flash up on my light cluster???

The adjuster on the relay doesn't adjust the flash rate it sets the point where the trailer light is triggered (when a trailer is attached). To set it correctly put your indicators on and adjust it just past the point where the trailer light doesn't flash. When you put an extra indicator load on (with the trailer attached) the light will flash as designed. For hazards there is normally a light in the hazard switch and on most (I think) the trailer light will flash at the same time. You probably have gone too far past the proper adjustment point which is why it doesn't work with hazards on. Indicators = 2 bulbs, hazards = 4 bulbs (extra load) hence you need the adjustment at the correct point
